Durham County VCS Alliance

The overall aim of the VCS Alliance is to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and their families and reduce the numbers of re referrals into statutory services by further developing the links between Durham County Council’s Children’s Services and the Voluntary and Community Sector.
Managed by Lindsey Ellwood, there are four VCS Alliance workers linked to the One Point and Families First services who will be making links with the local VCS organisations and enabling families to participate in activities and support services within their own area.
